Our catchment area
- Dial a Ride vehicles run between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday – We are closed on Bank Holidays and Weekends
- Dial A Ride takes their users door to door
- There is a subsidized fare for each trip
- A carer/family member can accompany a member for a set price of £3.00 (This is set at £3.00 regardless if journey is one way or return)
- Members may book to be taken to hospital appointments as soon as they have notice of these
- Other journeys may be booked up to two weeks in advance by Members
- These are just some of the places we take Members to amongst others:
- social clubs
- shopping
- hairdressers
- dental and medical appointments
- sports centres
- libraries
- education centres
- care centres
- All our drivers are trained to assist people who have limited mobility or other special requirements
- All our vehicles have wheelchair access
- Dial A Ride may take Members on journeys outside our catchment area by special arrangement and subject to vehicle and driver availability. Prices for these journeys will reflect the distances involved.
